Small and Divine Shrine

Spiritual .... Blessings....Powerfull Godess

The temple area was once surrounded by a dense forest where Rishis and Devatas performed penance and rituals. The Devi is said to have appeared before a Maharishi who had performed penance for eternal world peace. Many centuries later, villagers settled here and began farming.

One day, a dalit woman on her way to collect some firewood noticed an incredibly beautiful woman adorned with gold, who vanished before she could get any closer. She recounted the incident at a nearby illam (ollappamana), and a divine presence was identified by vedic astrologers. The supreme goddess deity was then consecrated in the temple as per tantric rituals.
